Reporting an Emergency Home Claim
Hopefully you never have to experience damage to your property. But, if disaster strikes, we are always here to help you.
- If you are experiencing a fire, or a burglary, get out of your building and call 911 first.
- If you have water or external house damage, do what you can to prevent any further damage.
- If you know of a contractor who can help quickly, consider calling them. If not, don't worry, we can help.
Report an emergency home claim:
- Call us at our toll-free number 1-800-611-2277 (in Canada). Your call will be answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Or you can also call us locally at 604-539-7077 (Monday-Friday—8:30am to 5:00pm).
Reporting a Non-emergency Home Claim or Inquiring About Your Existing Claim
Here are some of the things you'll need to gather:
- Your details including your policy number, or claim number.
- Details of any third parties involved.
- An indication of the value of the claim, such as purchase price, replacement cost, repair costs, or the extent of the damage.
- We also recommend you try to locate your insurance policy documents to check what's covered.
If we have acknowledged your claim already please contact the number given on the acknowledgement.

After you contact us, we will do the following for you:
- Answer any questions about your policy
- Contact insurance companies if needed
- Arrange for repairs from a restoration company for you if needed
- Represent you to resolve any potential questions or issues during the claim process
- Help you find other accommodation if needed
