Need to send money in a hurry? Use Interac e-Transfer®—the fast, convenient, secure way to send and receive money instantly using your computer or mobile phone.

You can send money to anyone who has a Canadian deposit account, all you need is their email address or mobile phone number.

  • Receive money from others in less than 30 minutes—no more waiting
  • View the status of your e-Transfer transactions anytime through online banking or Mobile Web for your smartphone
  • Access your e-Transfer history so you can see at a glance whether you've made the transfer or not

Getting started

  • You'll need to set up a Sender Profile in online banking. Simply click on “Transfers” from the side menu and select “Send Interac e-Transfer®”—you'll be prompted to set this up.
  • Next, you'll need to add each recipient you plan to send money to. You can do this by clicking “Transfers” from the side menu and selecting “Add/Delete Recipient”. You'll assign each recipient a specific security question which they'll need to answer in order to access the funds you've sent them-this is an added level of security to ensure that your e-Transfer isn't intercepted by someone else.
  • Now, you're set up to send money. Simply click on “Transfers” from the side menu and select “Send Interac e-Transfer®”. It's that simple.

Need access to online banking?

No problem. Simply contact your branch and you'll receive your access information right away. If you've got a smartphone, you can access online banking through Mobile Web.

Service fees

  • Sending an Interac e-Transfer® is FREE with our Simply Free Account™
  • With our other accounts, sending an Interac e-Transfer® will cost $1.00 per transaction (non-refundable). If you have a High Interest Savings Account, the fee is $5.00 per transaction.
  • Receiving an e-Transfer is free.

Me-to-Me

Need to move money around in a hurry? It's easy with Me-to-Me Transfers—the fast, convenient, secure way to transfer funds between your account(s) at Envision Financial and those you hold at other Canadian financial institutions using our online banking service.

Features of Me-to-Me

  • Moving money around between your accounts has never been easier—receive your paycheque at one financial institution and then transfer money out to pay your financial obligations at other banks or credit unions within minutes.
  • Use Me-to-Me to transfer between your Canadian accounts or between your U.S. accounts.
  • Set up scheduled or recurring Me-to-Me transfers between your accounts.
  • Save money by using Me-to-Me—it's less costly than other money transfer options such as money orders or wires.

Getting started

  • You'll need to complete a Direct Services External Account Link Authorization form (PDF) which is available through our online banking service. Simply click on “Transfers” from the side menu and select Link External Accounts—you'll see a link on this page to the PDF form.
  • Next, print out your completed form and bring it to any Envision branch so that we can complete the process of linking your Envision account to the accounts you have at other financial institutions. You'll need one form for each of the external accounts you'd like to link to.
  • Once this linking process is complete, you'll be able to use the Transfer feature of online banking to move money between your accounts. When you use the transfer feature of online banking, you'll now see your external accounts in the "Transfer To" and "Transfer From" lists along with your other Envision accounts. It's that simple.

Processing times

  • The transaction is processed immediately as long as the other financial institution also supports Me-to-Me transfer functionality.
  • The transaction may take up to several days if the other financial institution does not support Me-to-Me transfer functionality.
  • The transaction may take up to several days for scheduled and recurring Me-to-Me transfers. If you'd like a scheduled or recurring transfer to be processed on a certain day, it is a good idea to set up the Me-to-Me transfer for several days before you need access to the funds.

Service fees

  • Using Me-to-Me to transfer money out of your Envision account will cost $1.00 per transaction (non-refundable). If you have a High Interest Savings Account, the fee is $5.00 per transaction.
  • Transferring money into your Envision account from another financial institution is free.
