TENT PROGRAM

Program Overview

We are pleased to continue offering our tent program as part of our support for community organizations. Through this program, we provide tents to qualifying organizations to help support community events and initiatives. Availability is based on current program guidelines and eligibility criteria.

Our criteria:

This is no longer a first-come-first-serve program, events will be selected based on alignment with our organizational goals.

Tent applications will be considered based on the following criteria:

Event size (ie. Number of attendees) scope and reach
Both non-profit and for-profit organizations may apply

Requests unlikely to qualify for funding:

Tent requests with less than two weeks’ notice.
Requests for more than two tents per event.
Private events that are not open to the public.
Requests for an individual (for example athletes raising funds to attend the Olympics, etc.), as we concentrate our efforts on organizations serving a group of people.
Requests for religious or political organizations and affiliated activities.
Requests for any group that represents a conflict of interest for Envision Financial, or that promotes specific programs or issues where Members of the Credit Union may have significantly divergent views.

NOTE: Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer the Tent program in Hope, please contact the Hope branch for alternative support.

In consideration of Envision Financial providing tent(s) for the event described above, we agree:

To use the tent(s) only for the purpose stated.
Not to permit any emissions-producing appliances to be used in the tent(s), e.g. stoves, barbecues, heaters, etc.
Many public parks do not allow staking of our Marquee tents as a method of securing them. We require proof of permission from the proposed location to utilize staking methods otherwise weights will be used to secure our tents.
Not to permit any alcoholic beverages to be served from or consumed in the tent(s).
Not to attach or hang anything to supports or fabric of the tent(s).
To return the tent(s) to Envision Financial at the conclusion of the event in the same condition as when supplied.
To ensure that security is provided to avoid theft or vandalism if the tent(s) is requested for overnight use.

Envision Financial assumes no liability and we release and hereby agree to indemnify and save harmless Envision Financial from any claims by and any liability to persons or property arising out of the placement or use of the tent(s) as indicated.

Envision Financial will provide set-up and removal during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Envision Financial cannot guarantee set-up and/or removal outside of these hours.

Envision Financial reserves the right to reject this application at any time or for any reason.
